Controller Installation
on
Knee Bolster
The knee bolster located below the
steering
wheel is easily removed with two screws. After removing the
bolster,
I attached the controller bracket with two sheet metal screws.
Check
for visibility of the controller through the steering wheel before
selecting
a final location. Removing the bolster also allows easy access
behind
the dash to run the sensor wire harness through the fire-wall, connect
the controller main power harness to the factory brake controller plug,
and secure the wiring with zip ties. |
