This page has links to
still pictures on Flickr and videos of the interment. While these
videos may seem a bit morbid to some, we know that my father was always
fascinated by construction and other mechanical processes. My dad
would ride his bicycle down Baldwin Ave to watch road construction until
he was to unstable to safely ride any more.
He watched the
construction of the I-196/Baldwin interchange, which opened the week
before he passed on. Dad had commented many times that he would
never see the promised interchange because of it's long delays.
At
the last minute, we added the carpenter's level to the vault so that he
can check the golden gate for plumb and level.
